Construction Manager

Location: Fargo, ND

We have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Manager to join our team in Fargo, ND! This position is responsible for the day to day management of multiple mid-sized construction projects as part of the EAPC construction management team.

As a Construction Manager you will:

  • Contract Administration including: contract writing, change order management, manage requests for information, payment request review and preparation, dispute resolution.
  • Project scheduling
  • Cost estimating
  • Coordination of contractors and shop drawings.
  • Jobsite inspections
  • Attend and/or lead project meetings.
  • Implement and/or establish project objectives and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the design and construction team to maintain budgets and on time delivery.
  • Work closely with Owner’s to resolve issues and maintain good relations.
  • Ensure that design and construction meets or exceeds the customer’s specified performance criteria.

To join us you should have:

  • A.S. Degree in Construction Management or equivalent work experience
  • 4-year degree in one of the following is preferred: Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management
  • Ideal candidate has 5+ years’ experience as a project manager working for a general contractor, construction manager or architectural/engineering firm on commercial building projects greater than $1.5 million; will consider all experience levels.
  • Ability to travel and visit job sites
  • Skill and experience with Microsoft Project or other scheduling software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic office equipment
  • Must possess valid driver’s license
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship

This is a full-time position that will report directly to the Senior Construction Manager and will work as an integrated member of our multidisciplinary team.

Compensation is based on the applicant's skills, education, and other qualifications.
